  • Dr. Donald Bowersox with Dr. John Langley CSCMP & SCEF Join Forces for Spring 2008 Forum
    Atlanta (May 21, 2008) — The Georgia Tech Supply Chain & Logistics Institute (SCL) hosted the spring 2008 Supply Chain Executive Forum (SCEF) on April 23rd and 24th at the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center. This year brought a new twist to the gathering. In true collaborative form, Dr. John Langley, Director of Supply Chain Executive Programs and SCL Professor of Supply Chain Management, orchestrated a joint meeting of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) Atlanta Roundtable and the SCEF for the first time, bringing together two of the best organizations in their class.

    Atlanta (April 9, 2008) — The National Science Foundation (NSF) recently invited Dr. Donald Ratliff to serve on the Advisory Committee for the Office of Polar Programs (OPP). OPP establishes and directs NSF funding for basic research and operational support in the Arctic and the Antarctic.

    Atlanta (January 21, 2008) — The Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering's Supply Chain and Logistics Institute (SCL) hosted the fall 2007 Supply Chain Executive Forum (SCEF) in October. Participants discussed and exchanged ideas on collaboration—how it is defined within various organizations, the evolution of collaboration, and how it impacts the overall supply chain.
